NBC's streaming service ''peacock'' is a Scammer

Oh, I'm sure it's all high-quality content with NBC's premium studios delivering great shows; but--when I view it--they'll promote the shows as if you can watch ALL the shows' episodes, but then they'll only give you the first episode for free! But I wonder ... is NBC's lineup WORTH the subscription-fee? It reminds me of 'what I've heard about drug-dealers on the street': the first joint is FREE It 'gave me' the pilot episode of the sequel to QUANTUM LEAP, and now I'm 'jonesing' for another hit!

I'm sure there are services available there that aren't available in my country.

I have had a free subscription of their prime service for a year and the biggest drawback (if you want to call it that) is current shows are available the next night. If you have the Peacock app, do not plan on watching the newest episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit along with everyone else on Thursday night. You can't get it until Friday.

I never got into 'the LAW & ORDER serials.' If I did--tho--I would be glad my roommate and I still use cable-TV (we subscribe to for the package-deal (with Internet and phone)). And that also gives me a DVR service to record my favorite shows and watch them at my leisure.

@mythociate I also have the triple bundle of Internet, phone, and cable, but own a Samsung 4k Smart TV, so I can stream from apps too.

@Chellezhere I HAD one of those, then my roommate went and got me a VIZIO (like she has out in our living room).

It's hard to say. A lot of services will be like that. Offer some free content, hoping to persuade you to subscribe.
