I went to the doctor at the health center, who did a "mini ultrasound" on my knee, and then announced that something (like a sprain) was wrong with the cartilage. The paper he gave me (which of course I can't find now) says I have a "deranged meniscus" or something like that. Then he made me an appointment for an x-ray at the local hospital, where I went next. I was told they should have the results of that, soon. The first doctor asked me if I had a brace, and I told him yes, but of course now that I'm home I can't figure out where I put it last night, even after hobbling around looking. In the meantime, I'm going to be doing a lot of sitting. Sigh. Now I guess I should get something for lunch. Hope your morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in going well in your part of myLot land!

Gee, welcome to my world! I have put things down and spent hours looking for them, and then found them in plain sight. The meniscus, if I remember right, is your cartilage. I tore mine years and years ago (I stepped in a hole when I was in Thailand. I wound up in a cast for my flight home. That was tons of fun, especially on an 18-hour flight and using a tiny bathroom that wasn't big enough for both me and the cast. (The cast went up to my hip!) I had to go to the toilet with the door open. Anyhow, don't walk on it more than you absolutely need to. I walked like a maniac on mine and ended up having a knee replacement in 2000. Then the left one had to be replaced 5 years later. So be very careful!!! Be thankful it's just your meniscus that's deranged...

Toni said: Gee, welcome to my world! I have put things down and spent hours looking for them, and then found them in plain sight. Actually, I think we both live in the same world in that regard. The cast went up to your hip? For your meniscus? LOL--there are people who think that more than my meniscus that's deranged! Thank you. I will try not to walk on it more than I need to.

@xstitcher OH!! And try to keep it elevated, it helps with the pain and swelling. I KNOW that I'm totally deranged. I'm still looking for my favorite cat pin. I might find it when I do my major sort. I want to get the clutter and pile up down a LOT, I couldn't do it when I broke my ankle, so hopefully this fall I can work on it. The time that I was in Thailand was in 1973, before they realized that you don't need a cast to your hip for your meniscus. I got some odd looks and plenty of sympathy. I had quite an audience when I went to the bathroom in the plane too. The great thing was that I was "chauffeured" through the airport in a wheelchair. That was nice because I had to change planes in Hawaii and it's a big airport! Anyhow, keep off it as much as possible so you don't have to look at surgery. L & H's

@BearArtistLady Thank you, I will do my best to stay off my leg. Thankfully, two of my main pieces of furniture are rolling desk chairs. Hm. If we had a contest, I wonder if your clutter would beat my clutter?

Yesterday I did a 47 minute lower body workout and today I'm sore. My day yesterday was okay I tried to set up a job on a website and it told me there was no jobs on there. But I did watch two church services on facebook.
