26 Movies You Need to Watch! D is for Dazed and Confused

I know, I know....a stoner comedy. What is it doing on this list of movies that you NEED to watch...? And there are two reasons why this has made the grade for this list. The first one is, in case you haven't heard I am somewhat of a stoner. The second being it's actually a pretty funny movie. The movie follows a group of party-loving weed-smoking teens in Texas as they party their way through the last day of high school in the mid-seventies. Most of the movie takes place at the popular hangout in town, the pool haul. The star football player decided he doesn't want to come back the next year, ad discovered that he doesn't really like football as much as he feels like he was forced to like it and participate. The rest of the movie follows the new batch of freshmen getting hazed by the older kids. The cast is a good and well-known one. Matthew McConaughey hs one of his most famous lines in this movie "That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age." The movie also stars Jason London (who had a large role in 7th Heaven), Parker Posey, Ben Affleck, Rory Cochrane, and Milla Jovovich just to name a few. If you haven't watched it yet, you need to! It's on Starz and I think Prime for a fee. Even if you aren't a midnight toker. You should go ahead and watch it, it's funny! And everybody needs to laugh.
