Hey there, everyone. I haven’t done a “This is how my weekend went” post in a while, but I had a nice weekend, so I thought I’d share it with everyone. :) This is kind of long, but oh well lol. Friday: I wound up not working because I overslept. *Face Palm* I was supposed to work a half-day. Oh well, I guess. Anyway, my younger sister and brother-in-law came up pick me up between 3pm and 3:30pm, and then we met up with my older sister, brother-in-law, and their kids (they left before I did) to put some food in their cooler. Then, we picked up my nephew (oldest brother’s oldest son), checked out his new house, and then hit the road for Summer’s Farm. It took a little longer to get there then expected because of traffic (there was an accident), but we did eventually make it there. Keep in mind, this farm is about an hour or so away. Someone had our campsite (fire pit, picnic table and benches), which my younger sister reserved (and paid for). They didn’t realize it had to be reserved. We talked to the people in charge and asked if there was a spot that hadn’t been reserved. They let us move there, and we let the other people have our spot (we really didn’t care which spot we got), so it was a win/win for everyone. Plus, we were closer to the fire wood haha. It was cold that night. Anywho, we enjoyed the corn maze and other activities, the campfire, and good food. I went to bed shortly after we got home because I was exhausted. Everyone was exhausted. Saturday: My brother’s kids (nephew and two nieces) came over to spend the night. They hung out during the day, and I ran to the store with my brother-in-law for random stuff. Later, we took the kids (my brother’s kids plus my youngest niece here) to the park to pick up their lanterns, and they decorated them here at the house instead of at the park. The lanterns were milk jugs (or similar to them) with these little portable lights inside, each on bamboo sticks. How cute! :) We took the kiddos back to the park later to watch the Lantern Parade, which they all enjoyed. They were ready to come back a short while later because it was cold and they were hungry. We had hot dogs, tator tots, mac and cheese, and baked beans, so everyone had something they liked for dinner. Everyone just relaxed for the rest of the night, and my 5yr old nephew conked out before he could eat dinner (but luckily, he had lunch). Sunday: I took my 5yr old nephew and 10yr old niece (brother and sister) to the park to play, collect leaves, and get some fresh air. The 12yr olds didn’t want to go, so oh well lol. It was a nice time out though. The kiddos eventually went home. I love having them here, but the girls (sisters) kept bickering, so I was over it. Kids, lol. I didn’t do much else for the rest of the day. So yeah, it was cold, traffic was a mess for a bit, and there was slight bickering, but it was still a nice weekend. I love the fall season. :) Photo Credit: I snapped this picture at the park on Sunday.

I love the shade of red in the tree in your photo! I’m also really glad you got to find another spot and that nobody went away disappointed. Traffic? A mess in Baltimore? Fake news! (I’ve been there a few times, and it’s always been a nightmare when I’ve gone.)
