Mani Ratnam movies are not only awaited for his brilliant storytelling or direction, but people also wait for his movies because they contain one of the best musical scores from A R Rahman. It is like a duo combination of Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer or James Cameron and James Horner. So the recent movie of Mani Ratnam -A R Rahman has also an outstanding musical score, and of all the songs from the movie, Devaralan Aattam is my most favorite song. This is not a typical catchy number but has a strong folklore effect and layered song...by the time this song ends I can feel that wow effect in this song.
