I wanted to be the first one to volunteer

We always have a great multitude in every conference, seminar, school, and weekend challenges, name them.
I am in the crowd then they request someone to volunteer to work on something urgent.
In My heart, I was always willing to be the first to raise my hand, and take the first step. But then fear kept me waiting. Then the first person shows up and I am motivated to follow.
Did you hear that push from within like I did and then found yourself mark-timing?

Most of us have that fear and inhibition to be the first one. It's not easy, we really have to give a push to ourselves. Glad that you were motivated.

@MALUSE Thanks for the tips. They really work. I have tried it. I was shy till High school but then there was a huge noticeable transformation in me.
Today I conduct workshops and I am confident in front of the crowd in hundreds. I am often complimented for my interactive and engaging workshops and talks

@arunima25 Have you really done this and imagined people who frightened you in their underpants? We should write a self-help book! If this piece of advice helps an Asian and a European, it must be of value for all inhibited people worldwide!
