Today's shopping trip down town.

I've been shopping today. I went out wearing my mac with the hood because it said it might rain. It was raining before I went out but it had stopped when I did go out. When I was on my way I got a bit hot so I undid the zip on my mac. I went to the toilet by the Cathedral first, then I went to the Oxfam shop to give them another clothes donation. Then I went to Superdrug and got some panty liners and a little razor. After that I was going to go to Ryman to look for some box files. It's right at the top of the Three Spires Shopping Centre. But then when I got there they didn't have any! So I was going to have to go and look for some in The Works instead. But before that I went to WH Smith and got The Artist magazine and Creative Stamping magazine. I really wanted this months issue of Creative Stamping magazine because it had 2 free A4 sets of stamps, one with cats on and one with dogs on, supporting Battersea Dogs and Cats home. Then I went and sat on one of the benches inbetween Bon Marche and the new Tesco and ate my lunch. It was a vegan breakfast sandwich today. After that I went and got a cucumber from Tesco for 70p. Next I went to the Works and got those box files. I got 2 of them and they were £3 each. So I got some canvases for £4 to make it up to £10. After that I went to No. 24 Market Street. First I went to the toilet, then when I came out I asked for a cappuccino with soy milk. The guy said they didn't have any soy milk so I did my party trick and produced my own! When I said, that's OK, I've brought my own, he laughed! He said It might not froth up as well with soy milk, but I said it's been OK before. So he poured some of the soy milk into a little metal jug and gave me my carton back. I went and sat down, and when my cappuccino came it was great as usual, and it had frothed up perfectly! After I'd finished my cappuccino I set off for home. I went to the toilet by the Cathedral first, but there was someone in the disabled toilet so I couldn't go in there! (That's never happened before!) Instead I parked the trolley infront of the toilet at the other corner and quickly went to one of the other toilets. When I came out my trolley was still there! Phew! The person in the disabled loo was a lady with a toddler in a pushchair. She was coming out just as I was. Then another lady opened the door for us, and I said thank you as I went out. I sat on a bench by Stowe Pool for a bit, and took off my mac because I was getting very hot. It hadn't rained, instead the sun was beating down on me! When I got home, my Mum was back! And already she'd managed to get stuck on the loo! Later my brother came round to see Mum and to take the boys birthday presents. I hope you are all well. How is your day going?

@sharonelton Oh your poor mother getting stuck in the loo. I have a friend who got stuck in there and had to call the fire brigade. Glad you’re getting good value out of the toilets at the cathedral. All I did today was to visit a lady who’s no likely to see tomorrow, then I went to the solicitor’s to sign papers relating to buying a house.

Yes, she does that a lot! She's got a raised loo now in the upstairs loo, but we haven't put one on the downstairs loo because when it's on you can't open the washing machine door! Isn't it a bit drastic calling the fire brigade? It's very nice of you to visit that lady. What house are you buying?

You were quite busy. What good news that your Mum is home. Not good news that she was stuck on the loo. My SIL was over today. She will be flying back to Phoenix, Arizona tomorrow morning. Have a great weekend.

Yes, I have been very busy. It is good that my Mum is home. No, it wasn't good that she got stuck on the loo! She has got a raised loo upstairs that is easier to get off.

So glad your Mother is back home with you! Sun came out for you, nice! I went to Marukai Wholesale Mart nearby, got cooked rice for my brunch, sale Cafe Au Lait 3 boxes on sale and bleach. A gallon of bleach was heavy, coming home. It drizzled before I went shopping, so brought my umbrella, just in case.

Yes she is! I'm glad the sun came out for me. I'm glad you got what you wanted from the Marukai Wholesale Mart. You've just reminded me I need to put some domestos down the loo!

@oahuwriter Yeah, I tried to put some domestos down but the old bottle was empty and the new bottle hasn't been opened yet and I couldn't open it so I didn't get to do it after all!
