Firefighters in Ohio rescue a driver who was injured in an auto accident

A driver who was driving on a road in Perry Ohio on Wednesday daytime is grateful that someone who was an eyewitness who saw the accident when the auto that the auto went off of the road, over a hill and rolled down a hill ravine into the Lake County Metroparks which could have ended the life of the driver had help not arrived courtesy of the Perry Joint Fire District firefighters. The firefighters sent a rescuer to use a EMS equipment to see what could be done to rescue the injured driver. The firefighters then used a Stoke's basket after the injured driver and taken up the ravine. The injured driver was then taken by a helicopter to Metro Health Medical Center where he is in serious condition since a fall down a ravine from 75 feet can be deadly. The Perry Joint firefighters had help from a bystander as well as help from the state police, park rangers, the helicopter company and a Bob's Garage which made the rescue of the injured driver. What was the cause of the accident is under investigation by the authorities.
