In Fun Island resort in Maldives there is no restriction on fishing.

Maldives is a paradise. The beaches have shallow water due to the existence of blue lagoon and being very near to equator. The island authorities have no restrictions on fishing. I found the people from China, Russia and Europe coming with fishing equipments and fishing in the shallow waters. As the water is clear it is easy to see the fishes.

We have lots of fishing restrictions here although there are some kinds of fish in the Bay of Fundy that are not restricted and you can catch as many as you want. Our very nearby river has trout and a few other kinds of fish but they are not especially plentiful.

thanks Koopharper, I think those seas or rivers where oil giving fishes are there one cannot do fishing.
