26 Movies You Need to Watch! G is for Ghostbuster Afterlife

I am sure many of you are surprised that I chose the newest Ghostbuster movie, and not one of the two original ones. Like many of you, I grew up watching the original two Ghostbusters movies. I knew who Billy Murray and Annie Potts were from a young age. I had the toy proton pack and the jumpsuit. So don't get me wrong. I love the original movies, but I love Afterlife for everything it will bring to the new generation. Ghostbuster Afterlife follows the story of Egon's grandchildren, his granddaughter in particular who has a fascination with science. The movie follows as his estranged daughter and granddaughter come back to his house to take care of it, and fix it up. They end up stumbling on Egon's work, and well as you can imagine, the movie kind of takes off from there and I can't really talk about the movie without giving away too much. It's a great movie. So much better than I thought it was going to be, especially after the not so great all female one from a few years back. They left it open for an organic sequel instead of something that felt forced (here's looking at you movie starring Melissa McCarthy).
