26 Movies You Need to Watch! I is for Independence Day

I actually let Chris pick this one. Because I couldn't think of a movie that started with I and I wanted to get one more of these in this series before I wind down for the night. Anyway, this is another movie that just about everyone has seen or has heard of. It stars Will Smith, Randy Quaid, and Jeff Goldblum. It is a sci-fi movie about aliens who are trying to destroy the world. This was early Will Smith so back when I still liked him. But anyway, this is definitely an action "guys" movie. Randy Quaid plays the part he was born to play, crazy. This time he's a crazy redneck or back wods guy who lives in an RV that reeks of conspiracy theories. Overall it's a pretty good movie. I haven't seen the second one yet, but I have a feeling if it is half as good as the first one it will be great. Some women hate action movies and make a big deal of watching them with their other halves, but this is one that both genders can get into. This movie has a lot of stories, and I don't think I have ever met anyone that didn't like it.
