A 23 year old male who has special needs is grateful to be alive after the Mobile firefighters answered an emergency call from a concerned person in the neighborhood on Wednesday morning that the home of the 23 year old man was on fire. The firefighters ran toward the door that was closed when they used their firefighters to break open the door that was filled with smoke when they heard the 23 year old male who was riding on a wheelchair screamed for someone to help him get out of danger. The firefighters were able to drag the wheelchair bound man with special needs out of the burning room of his home safely. I am sure that the man who was safe after he got out of the burning home was taken by ambulance to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation and is expected to make a full recovery. The fire started in the kitchen of the home on Wednesday morning.

@Deepizzaguy that would be bad to be in a wheel chair and caught in a fire.

The firefighters are real life heroes since it takes a lot of courage to step inside of a smoke filled and room on fire.

Always good news to hear about a fire rescue. Accidental grease fire?
