Winter Long Drives

The air is cooler now. The mornings are crispier than before. There is dip in temperature at nights. We don’t need the air conditioner or fan much now. I am thankful for whatever winter we get here because I love cold. Sadly it does not get very cold or snowy and I always wanted to experience that.
However, this was a picture I took of last year when we went for a long drive one early morning. I usually wake up at 5:30 for my shift. But when it is a weekend I will sleep until 7:00 am
There are times on weekoff when we wake up at 5 take a nice hot shower and head out for a long drive with a flask full of hot ginger tea and some bread peanut butter sandwich or simple bread and butter. Yesterday I requested my husband to let’s go for a long drive this Sunday. However, my weekoffs are Thursday and Friday but I decided to call it a sick day off on Sunday to spend some time with my husband. I will never get a leave if I ask it straight so sick day it is.
Do you plan for any small picnics?

Not really since my relatives and myself have work on those days.

As long as you have fun with your husband than all is good.
