Went to see my doctor. As usual she was late, but this time she was actually two patients behind instead of just one. I thought I'd brought a book with me, but the "book" turned out to be my journal, so I wrote in that a bit and messed with my phone while I was waiting. While I was waiting, I had my blood pressure taken and all of that. The doctor actually came in a little sooner than I thought she would. She talked more about my peri-menopause than my knee, (she even gave me the title of a book she wanted me to read on menopause, and I just got through ordering that on Amazon). She also said (contrary to what I thought) that it was perfectly fine for me to look for a job while having physical therapy (though where and when I'll have that hasn't been straightened out, yet). So, I need to go and tell my job counselor person that I'm clear to work so that I can keep looking. I had to wait a bit longer before I could leave, because they also gave me another booster shot for COVID, and they wanted a urine test, too. After I'd left and was sitting at the bus stop, I got a call from the doctor's assistant saying I'd left my jacket in the exam room. I went back into the building, and they had it for me at the check-in counter, so I went back out to the bus stop. Phoo. Now, I'm going to see what I can get done before I need to get ready for Bible Study tonight. Hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
