I'm stuck!

I'm in this chapter where the protagonist has figured in an accident - a bomb explosion, and I know my plot, but I couldn't come up with the right terms to describe the scenario. They say describe and don't tell. But it's actually very difficult to do. So, I'm here seeking my MyLot's encouragement. The last time I was near to giving up. My friends on MyLot have cheered me on, so I have written a few chapters anew. But now, I'm stuck again. Enjoy your day MyLotters, have a great weekend. the Image of a traffic jam in Baguio City is mine.

You can do it. Get the picture of the explosion in your mind and watch what happens.

When I get into that situation, I write, even if it's telling. When you finish and start editing, you will find the words and descriptions you need. I always do. The words will come. The important thing is to keep writing.

Not a good writer myself so I guess am not able to help here. But I admire writers for their very creative way to describe things out and make their readers able to evoke emotions. I just hope you finished what you are writing and have a good story.

I hope so too. My vocabulary is rusty now because I don't get to read books. Now, I know why many people say that to be able to write well, you should also read well.

Just think of the scene of a bomb explosion. It would be a stressful situation to be in.

Yes, you're right. I will find a pic online about it, and try to describe it as close as possible to what I have in mind. Thank you.

When I get stuck, I put it aside for a few hours or a few days. Sometimes an inspiration will come to me during those times. You can do this! Don't give up!

I do what I love most when I'm stuck and restless. Then I go to worship so that my heart is calm.
