An 18 year old child whose name was not revealed is being called a savior after he risked his life to save the life of his grandmother who was inside a burning home in Fresno California on Sunday morning. The teenager was awakened when his father yelled "Fire" early in the morning to take action to get his grandmother who was in a wheelchair out of the burning home to safety. One of the family members called 911 to ask for help from the authorities who sent the Fresno firefighters who arrived in five minutes after the call was made to put out the fire. The firefighters were told by the family members that everyone was out of the burning home which was important since the fire consumed the house by the time that the firefighters arrived. The house was destroyed. However a house can be rebuilt which beats a loss of life in this case.

Losing a house is just as bad as losing a relative or pet.

@Deepizzaguy Yes, it's tough to lose all your personal things like photographs which can't be replaced.

@LindaOHio That is very true. Loss of family pictures is the worst loss.

I'm glad he saved his grandmother's life. It's sad they lost their home. You're right. Homes can be rebuilt. Lives can't.

The teenager is indeed a hero for saving the life of his grandmother even though the home was lost.

I am with you that the loss of the house was bad news. At least the family that lost their home can rebuild a better home in the future.
