Michigan State Police K9 unit locate a missing 80 year old man

An 80 year old male hunter who was hunting a deer in Lovells Township Michigan is happy to be alive after he went missing for a period of three hours when he managed to fire a few shots into the air as a way of asking for help around 6:40 pm yesterday. Michigan State Police Officers had a chat with the wife of the lost hunter who told the police officer that her husband had been missing for nearly three hours. After the Michigan State Police had finished speaking to the wife of the missing hunter, they summoned a K9 Unit dog named Loki who is working with the Houghton Lake Post and the Michigan State Police Aviation Unit in an effort to locate the missing hunter. Thanks to the teamwork of both the K9 Unit and the aviation unit, they were able to locate the missing hunter who was one mile away from his home who was cold and wet after he fell into a river three times most likely since it was dark outside. The missing hunter who was found was taken to Grayland Munson Hospital to be checked out for any problems that he encountered while he went missing. The good news is that the hunter who was found was released from the hospital and returned to reunite with his relatives the same evening.
