I didn't feel like making roti for dinner today. I made the Indian chaat.

Usually I have roti and curry for dinner but I didn't feel like making roti today. So I made the Indian chaat. It's nothing but boiled gram peas, potatoes, chopped onions, garnished or topped with yogurt, coriander leaves shred and chat bhujia. I sprinkled some roasted cumin and red chilly powder and some chat masala. I will just have some warm milk before bedtime.

That looks very nice and I bet would taste good as well. Do you drink milk at night often?

@aninditasen Ok, that's good if you can digest milk. I am probably lactose intolerant, get a bloated stomach upon drinking milk.

@Sojourn If you were born and brought up in Kolkata, it natural because milk there is adulterated. I get pure milk here.

I really need to get more familiar with Indian foods. What are the noodle like things on it? It looks delicious and healthy!

They are small crispy flakes made out of gram flour. It's called chaat bhujia in India.
