First day home, is always rough. / myLot

Due to our early start yesterday, George and I wound up sleeping in. I was actually surprised, because I didn't realize how tired I really was. I got all the house chores I wanted done and done early, even the laundry which I normally do overnight. Which meant I was able to sleep last night instead. I was thankful for that. I have a few dishes to do, but compared to everything else that needed to be done, it's a small price to pay and life can get back to normal, more or less.

A very busy day indeed. House chores are sometimes hard tasks to do, but with the help of technology, the tasks become easier. I remember during the old times, we didn't have a washing machine and we do it all by hand, but nowadays, I can wash my clothes easily.

I feel tired today, too--but glad I didn't have to make dinner. I have dishes in the sink to do.

I do too, they are large in size so not that many. just cumbersome.

The dark rainy weather we have been having has thrown off my sleeping schedule. I woke up this morning at 7 but usually sleep until 8 and then I was up till noon and had to take a nap.
