Brookfield Firefighter Nicholas Perri Junior was off the clock on Saturday overnight when he was driving in his auto on a highway when he saw a female driver who needed his help since she was injured in an auto accident when her auto caught fire in Brookfield New York.. Nicolas who lives in White Plains New York took action since he took an oath to serve his community to make an attempt to save the injured driver without having any of his firefighter equipment in his possession to get the injured driver from a tragic ending from being burned to death by getting of her auto just as the flames were about to engulf her. By the time the firefighters arrived at the scene of the accident after Nicolas called them after he saw what happened, the female driver who crashed into a wooded area was in a safe area. Nicolas carried the injured driver to EMS officials who took her to Danbury Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries. Nicolas was treated at the scene of the accident with a minor injury and released to go home.

Nicolas is a real life good Samaritan indeed since he could have passed by and gone home instead of saving the life of the injured driver.

@Deepizzaguy I agree with you. Media needs to cover those stories as well.

Nicolas is a very brave man rescuing the female driver who was injured since he did not have any of us protective gear with him.
