I am wondering what ran through the minds of two fishermen who went riding their boat off of the coast of Engelhard North Carolina about 11 days nights ago when they made an emergency call that their fishing boat was sinking in the ocean around 2am.
The United States Coast Guard station in Hatteras Inlet came to the area where the two fishermen were in the water wearing their life jackets five miles from the coast when the United States Coast Guard used a 47 foot lifeboat to rescue both men from drowning at sea.
Even though the brave officers did save the two fishermen despite the cold weather and cold water, the fishing boat sank into the ocean.
Lesson of life is that a boat can be replaced, a life cannot be replaced/ Fishing in cold weather around overnight hours makes me scratch my head.

I hope so as well since losing their boat is a very terrible loss on the fishermen to go through.

You are right that due to the darkness in the ocean, the fishermen did not realize that the boat was sinking.

When the United States Coast Guard rescues persons who are in cold weather, the rescue team admits that it is scary.
