Techniques of online teaching and learning

Online teaching and learning has become prevalent these days. Being a successful online teacher since 14years I think it's from the teacher's interaction with her students that gives rise to the techniques of teaching. We all know no two child or learner are the same and their needs are different too.
A number of online websites have come up with lot of materials and techniques of teaching and learning. Uploading tutorials and study materials on their website is beneficial but the techniques should be allowed for the teacher to decide. Websites that lay out some stereotype guidelines and rules of teaching and materials too are I think creating water tight compartments for both the teacher and the learner. In years of my teaching, I have come across students with different IQ and temperament with whom I had to apply different techniques.
Aren't the students and teachers being suffocated?

That's too subjective. Teaching is an art.

Yes, teaching is an art and depends on the students. Techniques should change according to the students attitude.

@aninditasen I do agree with you. Teachers never teach the lesson. They transform their students to be productive, useful and conscientious kind if citizens.

Yes, the teacher should be free to apply her own techniques.

Yes, it is but I am surprised to see that these days these sites want us to behave as marketing personals more than teachers.

I did virtual class teaching during lockdown. And trust me, it was nowhere close to the physical class. Each child is different with different learning style and when teaching a class, a good teacher should make use of all the intelligence and have a multisensory approach. It would really suffocate both teachers and learners if there is stereotype.

Yes, the same technique can be stereotype and the child may lose interest.
