The yellow kalke flower look bright in winter.

December 1, 2022 7:18pm CST
In Calcutta all of a sudden the temperature has increased and cold waves reduced down. May be there are clouds for that reason. But in that weather the yellow kalke flowers are growing well. They grow all around the year and are offered to Lord Shiva by the Hindus in India.

We had a lot of them in my Grandmother's house and I would pluck it with my grandma for puja. Lovely bright colour . People said that it attracts snakes but we didn't find snakes in our garden except a couple of times and that too not near these plants.

thanks Arunimaji in the Delhi Road and Mumbai road from Kolkata, that is the highways, NHAI had planted a lot of kalke plants in the divider. When they grow together they look bright.

@sathviksouvik That might be just a rumour. They say the same about Shankhpushpa. Maybe because these both are offered to Shiva and Shiva has a snake. Maybe,I am just trying to find a connection.
