A little quiet today.

George is at work, and literally counting down the days until he quits for good. He keeps saying he just can't take it anymore. Not that I blame him. But, it gives me a real chance to get things done around the house. I am sure I can do it. If not, there's always tomorrow.

He's been working on and off since around eight years old. He has a strong work ethic, that he has a hard time not stopping. He's been saying for the last several days now, that if he doesn't just walk away he won't. So, that's what he's going to do.

I know that feeling from my eight years of working in NYC. I loved my job, but there were days when I could hardly put two feet in front of me after the end of the day. I know George will be so glad when he finally retires.
