We're Finally Home

I curse how tiring that travel was. And it feels divine to be home. We arrived December 4, 2022 at 4am. I realized it is December already. I missed my laptop and my daughter and I missed our dog, Chewy. I dozed off twice on our journey home, while in the van and on the ship both on sitting positions. Mother and daughter beside me spilled coffee on my shoe LOL. I got no more money but we have the items we shopped so that's fine. Staying at hotels with dysfunctional hot showers has made our trip a failure in my opinion. Maybe another one next year in a different hotel and try to make a reservation instead of walk in.

Hopefully your next vacation will be better than the one you just finished.

Reservations are usually the way to go. You can walk into most and they usually keep a room or two open for those late-night travelers, but... yeah.

@yoalldudes Just plan ahead, scope out where you're going and shop around for rates if you know you need to sleep in a hotel for any reason.

I'm sorry to hear that your trip left you unsatisfied. When you have the time the next time, I hope you can appreciate it. This New Year, my wife and I decided to return to Tagaytay. We'll give it another shot, and hopefully the weather will be fine and there won't be any storms. On our first vacation, a typhoon forced us to spend the entire day inside the rental house.

@yoalldudes In any case, the trip wasn't entirely terrible. Even if there were only a few hours wasted, we were able to enjoy our stay there for another 24 hours because the weather had finally improved and the trip home had gone without a hitch.

I'm sorry about that experience. I'm glad I was able to buy the items I need though.
