AUTUMN IN FORT LAUDERDALE 2022

Today it is finally feeling like an Autumn Day--the temperature only reached 81 degrees and tonight it is supposed to go down into the 60s! We had our second warmest November on record as the two pictures on the left show but now the sunsets are getting more 'cold' looking! Also Fort Lauderdale is finally recognizing the climate change taking place--after last weeks highest even flooding from the king tide they have placed "NO WAKE" (picture top right corner) signs around Gateway because cars were racing through the high water flooding their engines and it reached a point you couldn't get in or out of the resident! Meanwhile inside my apartment it was still summer as I started growing an avocado and the Geraniums and Cactus are in full bloom while I am picking peppers from the plants for my dinners. Okay I have to get out my ONE sweater out before the sun goes down and the thermometer hits the 60s---next I'll be looking for my snowsuit!!! N-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!!!

You have such a green thumb! We have been lucky. We've only had s**w twice so far. Knock on wood. The weather will be warm enough for the next 5 days so that we will only get rain. Have a great week.

@GreatMartin We've always wanted to move to the Keys. Saw a house for sale down there. Over $400,000 for a TRAILER! Too bad.

We have been cloudy all weekend. Rain forecasted Monday through Thursday of this week. Pretty photos, like the sunset of course, and all of the blooms too.

I couldn't get the whole collage downloaded--had to cut off the left side showing the high temps!

It just may snow in ft Lauderdale the way the weather is these days! Good thing you stayed safe inside with all that flooding. Do you make guacamole with those avocados?
