Just found an interesting tidbit on my mother's actual Postell family

My 2nd great granduncle's brother-in-law stabbed someone to death. The guy was feuding with my 2nd great granduncle, but the brother-in-law decided to take care of it. It wasn't even his fight. He took to the courts to argue that the effect of the alcohol he'd been drinking prevented it from being first degree. He twice told the guy he was going to cut his heart out and then, when the guy left the premises, pursued him to do the stabbing. He lost his argument. I was able to download that court case and added it to my tree. I haven't found the jury's verdict from the actual trial. The good thing, if you can call it that, was that I had no idea who the wife's family were. I hadn't found them. But, with her brother's name, I can now look for them as children with their parents. Even bad news can have a good result.

@RubyHawk I enjoy it. It's like being a detective looking for missing people and solving mysteries.
