Neymar Jr. again failed in his quest for a Football World Cup. It could well be the last world cup that he has played but that is another topic. In their Quarter Final Face off, Luka Modric was a big factor in Croatia beating Brazil in a penalty shootout by 4-2. That makes it Croatia's second straight semi final. Neymar tied Pele's record for most goals for the national team, giving Brazil the lead in extra time. Yet Bruno Petkovic equalized for Croatia in that extra time and hence it boiled down to a penalty shootout. Interestingly, Argentina also beat Netherlands on penalty shootout in another Quarter Final match. So one Semi final match is decided. Argentina vs Croatia. The other one is yet to be decided.
