Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. I feel every living being on this planet has right to live freely, independently without any sort of abuse. A horrific incident has come to light wherein PETA, India which is Animals Right Organisation has come out with the story of "Joymala" the Elephant. Joymala Elephant use to reside in Assam. The female tusker was owned by someone named Girin Moran who in 2011 sold the elephant to Tamilnadu Temple under necessary approval of Forest Department. Joymala was temporarily leased to the Tamil Nadu Government has been forced to remain in captivity after the agreement expired in violation of Wildlife Prevention Act, 1962. She was illegally kept at Srivilliputhur Nachiyar Thirukovil temple for over a decade. Joymala is chained to the floor for nearly 16hours a day and tortured with implements including pliers to painfully twist her skin. The video went viral online wherein the abuse was captured by the PETA, India. The Tamilnadu Government has send four member team to inspect the condition of Joymala in Tamilnadu. I feel really bad about this incident. I fail to understand how humans can be so inhumane to animals and abuse this way. I hope and pray that the elephant is released in Wild Life and get relief from the abuse. Animals can't speak hence they are abused this way which is so unacceptable. In this case, the caretaker himself did this abuse to her. The sanctuaries and Wildlife Park organise various activities of feeding, bathing and clicking selfies with tourists for tourist attraction. Humans shouldn't encourage such activities for their own entertainment. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!! Take care!!

It is awful what happens to some creatures. The ones who hurt them should be punished.
