The Volcano:Rescue from Whakaari is the title of the documentary film i just finished watching. It is about the deadly volcanic eruption in Whakaari or White Island of New Zealand year 2019 which has taken 22 lives. Many tourists went to visit the island to see for themselves the Whakaari crater. Unfortunately, it erupted while the tourists are touring or trekking the place. Mother nature is truly cruel sometimes. Its wrath comes without warning.

Nature is the kindest one most of the times. But unfortunately we are not grateful to mother Nature. And then it can be the most cruel one at times.

Mother nature keeps us alive. It provides us with everything that we need. But sometimes, it seems to punish us by letting us experience its anger.

@magallon Yes, it does. So unfortunate that we have always taken it for granted and abused it..In recent times, we have seen more frequent anger from Mother Nature.

Here's an excerpt of what I found regarding this volcano. 'Whakaari / White Island[a] is an active .... The volcano has erupted many times in recent history, including several times in the 1980s. ...The volcano had been showing signs of unrest for several weeks before the 2019 eruption. ... White Island Tours posted a statement on their web page before the eruption, which stated: "Whakaari/White Island is currently on Alert Level 2. This level indicates moderate to heightened volcanic unrest, there is the potential for eruption hazards to occur. White Island Tours operates through the varying alert levels but passengers should be aware that there is always a risk of eruptive activity regardless of the alert level. White Island Tours follows a comprehensive safety plan which determines our activities on the island at the various levels." ' Why would anyone risk their safety, going near a volcano known to be a risk? Why do people go out in dangerous storms to take pictures on a beach? Why do people ignore warnings to evacuate when advised to do so? A much greater disaster is facing mankind, and few are paying any attention. Matthew 24:36-39
