Two Waste Management employees were at the right place at the right time on Wednesday morning while they were working on picking up trash at the Riverwood Golf Course in Port Charlotte Florida when they saw a 83 year old man whose name was mentioned that was trapped underneath his golf cart inside the golf course. Paulino Ortega who was the driver of the garbage truck noticed that the elderly man waved at him from underneath his golfcart to get the attention of Paulino and his assistant Alex Galarza. Both Alex and Paulino went to find out what was going on with the elderly man who was trapped under his golf cart for he estimates for a period of five hours. Both Paulino and Alex were able to get the man out of the golfcart and get him a warm blanket when the garbage employees called 911 to send an ambulance to take the accident victim to a local hospital where he was treated for his cold condition being trapped underneath his golf cart and he was released later on the same day. Both Alex and Paulino are likely to be rewarded by their employer for saving the life of the golfcart since no one near the golf course to assist him during his time of need.

That is a good question since the injured man did not want to be interviewed by the reporters covering the story.

@RubyHawk I am in agreement with you since due to his age, it would make him look bad.

@Deepizzaguy I can understand why he wouldn’t want to be in the news.

That would be awful to have happen. Golf carts can be dangerous.

It is kind of odd that an elderly person wound up underneath a golf cart at night.

That is a good question since when he asked for an interview by the local media, he refused to be on camera on how he wound up underneath the golf cart.
