Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too.
FIFA World Cup was going on since quite some time. I don't watch Sports but keep seeing the news.
The football fans all across the world must be glued to their screens to watch matches.
On the final day of match, Deepika Padukone an Indian actress was given the honour to showcase the FIFA World Cup Trophy of this year.
She became first Indian to get this opportunity. As an Indian, it's a proud feeling. Also I heard about the historic win of Argentina against France.

she didn't "showcase"...she just "unveiled" and that's not something to feel great about...India should start thinking how on earth are they unable to participate in WOrld Cup with so many talents around, instead countries half the size of us are there

@Rashnag but as a citizen what have we done to make our country excel in football???? Have you ever watched Indian football match?? do you know how many clubs are there??? Atleast basic awareness isn't there and we talk about participating at International level....may be sports minister should pull up their socks to make it popular and divert people's interest in other sports, n not only cricket...

@Rimps85 ok. You write to the sports minister if you have problem with it. Some people in India don't want to do anything and just complain. You are citizen of India still you mentioned as if from another country. Anyways I don't want to argue more as i don't have any interest in any sports. Have a good day. Take care
