When we hit the post office today, we'll be done with our holiday-related errands for another year. Mailing Christmas cards is the last on the list. We'll be going through the neighborhood this year, to look at lights, but that's more fun than anything.So, the hard work is over for now.
Can't believe we'll be celebrating our sixth Christmas at this house. The longest we've lived in any one place.

I may or may not send a couple more Christmas cards.
I lived in my childhood home about 46 years. I have to figure out if I've lived in this apartment almost two years or three.

I hope you,, George, and Chilly have a very Merry Christmas. Can you believe it will be here on Saturday? It was great in Latvia we had Chrismas Eve, Christmas Day and the following day our Second Christmas so three days of celebrating.

Ironically, even the calendars declare Monday as a holiday observation day. They do this sometimes if a holiday lands on a Sunday.
