I had in my mind to get an ornament at the Hallmark store for the hostess gift for the lady who's house I was going to dinner at tomorrow. I walked into the store and on a stand of free-hanging ornaments (not in boxes) was this little beauty. It's perfect for her because she knits/crochets--I even own some of her work. Now I just need to wrap it.

That is the perfect gift to give her since she knits/crochets.

That'd be easy to make, too. Wrap some yarn around a styrofoam ball, use a couple of nails for the knitting needles and an eyescrew at the top for the ribbon. Dab some nail polish on the nailheads and yer done!

It would, but I like patronizing our local Hallmark.
