Christmas doesn't "feel" like Christmas without Mom and Dad, but at the same time, I know that it is a celebration of the birth of the Savior, so it is a great day. I'll go to church this morning, and afterward go to my friend's house for Christmas dinner. When I get home, I'll open presents I've received from people at work, etc. Have a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!

I opened my presents last night: socks, socks, and more socks. At least the sun is shining this morning and it's just breezy, not gale force winds. I'm listening online to CBC's traditional Christmas playlist (got tired of the contemporary Christmas tunes on my jazz station). Enjoy your dinner.

Thank you, at least you will have warm feet! I won't open my presents until I come home this evening.

We opened our presents on Thursday because Son2 and FDIL were leaving for Texas to spend Christmas Eve and Day with her family.

Every family works a little differently. Now it's just me, so I can open presents whenever I want to.

@xstitcher We would normally have waited for Christmas morning if those two hadn't been going to Texas.
