I've Got Plans How About You?

A fresh new year to make the most of. I start the year with a couple of issues to deal with. The car needs some work and the situation is kind of complicated. I'm due for hernia repair surgery about three weeks in. I've waited almost a year for that and am going to try and make the most of my convalescence time. I'll be off work for six weeks. I'll be paid through Employment Insurance during that time. During my six weeks, I'll be restricted to ten pounds or less lifting. That isn't too much. I managed to stockpile firewood so there is nothing heavy that I have to do. I have quite a bit of small material prepared for turning on my wood lathe. I'm hoping to do a lot of turning and reviving my YouTube channel (MFCP Woodworking). I'm told I'll be miserable for the first week but after that, it shouldn't be too bad. My daughter is also on me to write more. I will be making some articles relating to my woodturning and linking them to my videos. I find they get a lot more attention that way. Just maybe in the future, I might get some money out of that as well. Does anyone have big plans? I'd love to hear it.

I am glad you will finally get the surgery but daunting the first week, hope it won't floor you. Good you are going to revive your channel..Ill take a look. Yes write more here if you can. Take it easy now, good to see you. No plans here, I never know if I'm coming or going....such is life. No car here, don't need it and that is why..cant afford fixing..hope it will get fixed for you. Happy New Year to you. By the way, you can put a link to your YouTube channel in your profile..go to settings and there youll find it. I subscribed to you..found it thanks.

Thanks. Wish I could do without the car. If I lived close enough to work I would ride a bicycle but I'm not so lucky.

Good luck on your operation. Please follow the doctor’s order of no lifting heavy stuff.

Thank you. I'm expecting to be miserable for the first week. They've already reduced my lifting to five pounds or less after surgery. That's going to be a challenge.
