So our hot water heater saga continues.

After an early game of phone tag, our new hot water heater is here. The Plumber is installing it right now. It's going to take us a little time, obviously, and things need to be changed out because we've got an older house. But, while this is not how I expected to start 2023, I can tell you... we're glad we didn't wait.

Got a new hot water heater? Do you have an old one? What happened to it?

We had an eighteen-year-old hot water heater. The man who replaced it for us, told us one of the heating elements might've been working to hard, which tripped our breaker. So now we have a new one, and it's working great.

Hot water heaters are very important to have inside a home since taking a shower in cold water is terrible.

@Deepizzaguy I can't take a bath with cold water. Especially in the winter.

@kaylachan I have been there a few times having to not warm water to take a shower. It is very uncomfortable.

Glad it is getting done. Did you consider a tankless hot water heater? I ave been thinking if I need to get one, I will try to get one of those.

@kaylachan Well hopefully you aren't going to need one for many more years now

We did, we elected to go with a tank this time. Pricing and stuff, just didn't pan out and it takes a lot of money and you need both an electron and a plumber to install them. We have been thinking about, and my husband says, maybe next time so we can learn more about it.
