Is it useful to upgrade to an OS that takes up lots of system resources, just to look great? Windows Vista upgrade from XP- Is it a wise decision?

from what i have read about the vista release, you would need a supercomputer for vista to run and to see the best features. and judging by microsoft's history, the first release would have a few bugs now and then. i would wait for around 6 to 8 months before even thinking of upgrading to vista. for now i would keep my xp and ask around or browse the internet about the developments regarding vista.

You are right. Vista really needs a lot os system resources. Is it worth a system upgrade? Personally, I dont have a reason to upgrade for the sake of a new OS.

Just wait for improvement of yhat OS before shifting, Its anew release and there are bugs on that I think, and you will need a high quality computer to install it, but vista is the new and Improve OS way better than XP
