Solo trip to Vietnam / myLot

It was actually good. It was scary at times and I got a bit bored. But I learned to enjoy my own company and did not really go through many troubles. The people in Vietnam were mostly nice and welcoming. Walking alone at night felt pretty safe, even safer than in my country. I met some fellow travellers who shared their stories with me. One con is that I did not have anyone to take my picture.

I am not that courageous like you! So far, my solo trips = business trips, and that means I scuttle/scurry to the target point as fast as possible, complete the task, and scuttle back (like an endangered animal tries to survive

I have never traveled long distance alone. I used to go to the scenic spot alone on weekends in the city where I worked, Beijing, the capital of China. I will put my mobile phone on the selfie pole and take pictures of myself.

Yeah, those inventions are very helpful. Selfie sticks, tripod and the like.
