Today promises to be a bit of a better day. I'm managing to get a post in before breakfast. Still making breakfast, but still. I'm taking the time to make a post first. Not much to say, other than the sun is out and promises to warm up today. Chilly gets his flea meds, and he's going to hate us for that. But that never lasts long. The wind is a lot less which is why things are warming up.

It is warmer here today than yesterday, but it was still quite chilly on my walk with the wind blowing.

I post in-between doing housework and other things. The majority of my time is spent responding to notifications.

Well, tonight should be fun. According to the weather we will be down to 34 with a frost advisory. Glad I have my little heater in the area I sleep. BTW I wanted to ask you now that you got those solar panels they must gather the heat from the sun which I know is warm no matter the weather when it streams in through the windows so they must really heart up your home nicely, right?

Well, no. They don't provide extra heat. They do however, save us power on the electric bill, because the sun powers the house during the day. However, our house does have a good central heat system, is cement block, and we put hurricane windows in it the first year we moved here. And, the windows themselves, really help to hold the heat so the heater doesn't have to run much during the day.

I hope you're enjoying both. Isn't California usually dry?

@kaylachan California has a reputation for being dry. I have written abut the ebbs and flows in our weather for years. Our recent rains remind me of California Winters 25 years ago.

I'm looking forward to it. Going to have my first staycation this week since my husband's been retired. He's loving the retired life so far.

I am supposed to give the cats here their flea treatment too. Ours are a bit expensive, but easy to apply, so all is good.
