My Weekend.

Hey there, everyone. Things are still a little on the slow side today, so I’m gonna go ahead and make another post before I get back to the order I just grabbed off this writing team. So anywho….. On Saturday morning, I went to a local restaurant called Eggspectation for my belated birthday brunch with my younger sister, one of our nieces, our best friend, and her son. I ordered the “French Toast Flambe” with bananas, caramel, and I think brown sugar. It was SO GOOD. I wound up taking it out and about with me and finishing it in the car lol. I also ordered hot chocolate and iced tea. The hot chocolate was for before my meal and the iced tea was to have with my meal. I also had a side of turkey bacon, but I didn’t have any of that leftover lol. After brunch, my best friend, her son, and I dropped my niece off at home because she had to work later, and then we hit the road to York, PA. It’s about 45min.-1hr away, but we like going there, and we don’t go there often. We went to Five Below first, and I got a cute bucket hat and a small tin of The Golden Girls Dorothy mints. I already have Blanche, Rose, and Sophia, so I just needed Dorothy. Then, we went to Walmart, where I picked up a few necessities. We also hit up a few grocery stores and Petco, and then we headed back home. My best friend also gave me a few birthday gifts, including the Peanuts hoodie that I’m going to include in this post, which I’m wearing right now. Anyway, I spent the rest of the evening just chilling with my dogs at home. :) On Sunday, my best friend and her son came over to do a belated Christmas exchange with my family (minus me because we exchanged a few weeks ago). She did give me two birthday gifts from the little guy, which were a 1,000-piece Peanuts puzzle and Peanuts Gang figurines. After they left, I just lounged around the house and conked out, and then got my planners, to-do lists, and whatnot ready for the week before dealing with laundry and hitting the hay.
