Does logic supports death?

We apply logic in every place. Logic also supports sorrows, pain, diseases and many other such possibilities. Should we believe in following logic even if it supports death? What is being optimistic then? How do people recuperate on their own from even a serious illness like cancer or paralysis then? Is ‘dream’ to be valued more than reality/logic? I mean people suffering from major illnesses should not accept death but instead fight with it. This can assure longer and healthier life for all. And can also prevent death by severe pain like cancer for we will fight back. Is the context correct? What do you say?
