The berths in Duronto Train are awesome.

The AC 2 tier coaches are the best coaches in the Duronto train. I travelled with my mother. She got the lower seat and I got the upper seat. The train has provided pillows bed sheets and blankets. I boarded the train in Calcutta at 5.45 in the morning. I reached Nagpur at 10 pm at night. The train was late by 1 hour. That is acceptable in winter because there is dense fog and that does not allow the train to pick up it high speed.

thanks Ruby yes the distance of the two places Calcutta and Nagpur is 1400 km. So the train took around 15 hours to reach the place.

@Icydoll thanks Icydoll my wife and two son went to their grandmother house in nagpur. I went their with my mother attended a marriage and brought them back in flight

I sure miss the days of traveling by train from Balboa to Colon on the passenger trains in Panama.
