It is becoming an old issue that scammers were using PayPal to deceive innocent souls. Yesterday, I received an email that seemed to be from Paypal. If you are going to check it closely, there are some flaws that appeared to be a fake one. Can you pinpoint what's wrong with this phishing email?

@Shavkat It is sad enough that there are scammers in real life but that they have to be on the internet too. I am sorry this happened to you but so glad you saw through the scam.

I am glad that I still have my presence in mind not to punch the button. We need to be vigilant at all times.

@Shavkat You are right, but, sometimes not all of us catch it before it is too late.

I always received it but just ignore. I go directly to the site of PayPal.

I also do the same thing. Seeing a button like this is so wrong for me.

I believe I have received emails of that like, but I believe the sender made a mistake because the email in question does not have a PayPal account linked to it. I believe the sender is instead using this email as part of a random email campaign in an effort to reach as many people as possible.

That email is not PayPal's email.

Well for a start off they should call you by name, not just Dear customer. Also they make it sound urgent so you have to act now. Am I right?

You are right. They need to address is by our names. For urgency, we do not need to use the link or button provided by them. Instead, we can have a new browse and use

I don't realise this 21st Century is the time of scammers to shine. I hope they meet their karma for scamming people.

2 big things. They should use your name and not have a link there
