Got up and went to get the mail.... And the most important thing, the check from my brother for the rent from the house, came today. I put a "dot dot dot" up there, because right when I started this post, I saw that I had a text from my brother saying to call him, so I did. He wanted to discuss things about the trust my Mom left me, which we're trying to close, so that the money will go to me, and my brother won't have to write me a check all the time for my rent here at the apartment or whatever. He said he's got some papers for me to sign so that I will be named for owning our house rather than "The trust". Oi--we discussed taxes and how I'll probably have to pay them once I start the Coast Guard daycare job, and my progress on getting to do the Coast Guard job and whatnot. Evidently his girlfriend's dad, who is a lawyer, is going to help us with a lot of the legal stuff--the paper signing with my trust and the house and stuff--for free. Yike. So, that's what's going on with me. Tomorrow and Thursday I'll work, then be off Friday, unless my boss at the in home daycare asks me to work. Right now, I need to get some dinner.
