The hills and in the alpine forests the emu is reared in resorts. Whenever I met them or my family members met them I always found them very friendly. They make deep loud sounds but that they do to attract attention. I still dont know why emu flesh is considered to be red meat and the New Zealand bird kiwi flesh is considered to be white meat.
