Saraswati Puja is held on panchami meaning the 5th day of the month. Shetola Shasthi is held on shasthi the 6th day of the month. The Hindus eat vegetables and lentils in whole and it is called gotta seddo. The whole peas, brinjals, cauliflowers, beans whole black beuli dal are boiled and eaten. Even potatoes are eaten in whole form.
