Wish the government would give more effort on protecting our historical buildings and places

I went to our country's national heritage not because it is a tourist spot but because the government office i went to was located inside it. Went to settle something. Anyway despite being touted as historical heritage for tourist to see, there isn't too many foreigners. There are some foreign tourist daily but not enough to be happy about. It just shows how dismal is the place for tourist to see. There some nice things to see but after walking a few blocks you'll see something that aren't touristy at all. Government need to hire some professionals to plan on how to make the whole area from outside to inside tourist friendly. Add more gardens like the way private business like malls her do having nice gardens with nice things to. But our historical places aren't cared for and improved at all. When private companies here can come up with new beautiful parks around their malls, why can't that happen on our historical areas.
