Restarting Career isn't a cakewalk!! It's a constant struggle!!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing ok since few days. You all must be wondering where I am as I am not regular here since many weeks. Well, most of you know that I am restarting my career as well as studying digital marketing. I am going for job interviews as well as studying. It's becoming frustrating for me lately as interviews going well still not getting selected. There are 2 reasons. Firstly I have much job gaps in my profile and second is that I had taken a break due to personal issues for 8-9 years now. I am failing to understand why people can't focus on present and keep talking about my past. I understand their concern. I reassure them about stability but somehow they aren't convinced. It's very ironical that in this age, people are not looking at person's potential and capabilities rather just focusing on past and at times being rude about it. I have worked with full honesty wherever I worked and for whatever duration. I am not hiding anything in my profile and mentioning every job I did. It's disheartening at times when people keep saying you won't get it or you can't do it. However, I am a positive person and won't give up the fight. I am trying to stay calm and take each day as it comes with a hope always by my side. Let me know your thoughts or experiences or suggestions. I would like it. Have a good day!! Take care!!
