Wednesday Night Church Service: Yes or No?

Up until the scamdemic shut everything down, many churches had Wednesday night services. Now that churches are opening back up, very few have prayer meetings on Wednesday night. The few churches, that I know of, that do have midweek services have very few in attendance. I have heard people say, they need that time to spend with family. Yet, a lot of them, do not spend that time with their families. They dump their kids on babysitters and go out to eat, to movies, shopping, the bars... Then there are those who say they watch services online, but you can see the numbers watching and they are very low. I know people who used to be very faithful on Sundays and Wednesdays, but they are not as faithful on Sunday and they don't attend Wednesday at all. Should churches just close their doors on Wednesday night and forget a midweek prayer and Bible study? Or should the church leaders and small handful of faithful members resort to begging and bribing people to come? Is there any point in even having a Wednesday night service?

If a few people find it has value, it's worth it.

It is a common thing in the Bible belt of the United States.

@gnatsmom I see here most families prefer doing a family prayer in their homes

I do believe this is part of the great falling away. People are deserting their faith...no one can be on the fence about who they serve anymore.

I have had thoughts along this same line.
